Sonyashnyk (Ukrainian for Sunflower) is a postcard-sized handprinted linoprint that is part of the Blossoming Ukraine series. In Ukraine, it is believed that the sunflower is a symbol of the sun, work, prosperity, strength, and well-being.
Blossoming Ukraine series is created to support the people in Ukraine, as full proceeds from the sales are donated to the local volunteer organizations. The donation report is posted monthly on my Instagram page @documentavasi. Thank you very much for your support and standing with Ukraine.
